You find out when they send out the Red Warnings then it is too late for your account. In all, all of the methods are risky because Niantic does not let you know when they detect something. It all depends on when Niantic detects the spoofing or cheating method. All Niantic has to do is detect the joystick app, and you will get a Red Warning/Strike. I have seen the ban waves for No Root methods. I have been spoofing since the beginning with rooted methods. People in the other subreddit go around and tell people "This method is safe and/or ban proof." This 100% false/lie because nothing is safe and ban proof. In this case, all forms of spoofing like Downgrade Method, Rooted methods, bot methods, modified apps (Pgsharp & iPogo), iTools dongle, and having multiple accounts are all cheating and carries risk. Once a game company says something is against their Terms of Service, this means you can get punished (example Red Warning / Strikes) for using it. The problem is many people do not understanding the "cheating" concept.
